Established in 1968, the playschool is within the Church centre, next to St. Mary's Church. The Victorian building, which is the former village school, has been extensively modernised in recent years and now includes four classrooms, an indoor playroom, office, kitchen, hall, and two large fully enclosed playgrounds. 

The children are grouped according to age with the youngest in Ladybird Group,  and the older children in Butterfly Group. Classes are small ensuring excellent adult: child ratios.

The Church Governing Body together with the Manager and the highly qualified staff, work together to provide a vibrant, nurturing environment that ensures every child is included and supported.
