About Us

For children aged

2-4 years

Established in 1968, our playschool is within the Church Centre, next to St. Mary’s Church. Our historic building, which was previously Great Baddow’s traditional village school includes four classrooms, an indoor playroom, sensory room, an office, kitchen, hall, children’s and adults/disabled toilets, a fully enclosed wide-reaching playground and garden area which is used as part of our everyday teaching..

Butterfly Group dedicates itself in preparing children for ‘school readiness’ by ensuring that the transition between pre and primary school is as smooth and accommodating for every individual child.

Please also note the above sessions can be combined to enhance your child's learning, development and needs.

Fees are charged on a termly basis and are payable on the first day of term. Government funding is available for eligible 2, 3 and 4 year olds
